Bio

Samantha Olszewski is currently working as the associate scenic charge at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center in Midland, PA. In 2021, She graduated from Syracuse University with a BFA in THEATRE DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY and a minor in Accounting. Sam was the scenic designer for Finding Nemo Jr. (LPPAC 2025). At the CLO Academy, she set designed The Lion King Jr. (2026), Cinderella Jr. (2025), The Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition (2024), and Matilda Jr. (2023), and the CSA Perdita at The New Hazlet Theatre. She was also the scenic charge for Hamlet (Quantum Theatre), taught a scenic painting course at Point Park University, and was the technical director at Seton LaSalle Catholic High School (2022-2023). While at SU, Sam was the scenic designer for Blackbox Player's Lonely Planet and the mainstage production of The Matchmaker. In the
summer of 2019, she was the set/props designer for Gretna Theatre's three-show kids' series. At SU Drama, she assistant stage managed The House of the Spirits, assistant set designed The Baltimore Waltz, Next Fall, and The Crucible, and assistant costume designed The Wild Party. She grew up just outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she attended high school at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School.
